baiting your bp

What i mean by that is when you stick a mouse near the cage before you feed them, this is my first time trying this technique and i was curious on how the snake should be reacting all my snake is doing is siting and not moving at all is this normal or when you guys do it is the snake all over the mouse. i have the mouse right on top of the cage.

I'm not sure why you'd put a mouse near the cage, prior to feeding them?
I just feed mine. They usually snatch right away, or when the prey gets close enough to grab it.

He's trying pre-scenting Wolfy, to get a snake more interested in eating.

Remember these are ambush predators so it wouldn't be abnormal for the snake to freeze into an unmoving position. Their ability to sense their prey is incredibly well designed so that snake I'm sure is very aware of exactly what prey is nearby. :)
