Rats with lice and mites

I noticed a lot of the rats in the petstore were scratching themselves all the time and when I looked carefuly saw some lice . Anyway I am planning to breed my own feeders so I was wondering what do you guys use for the lice and rat mites? I've also seen dead lice on the frozen rats that I buy. :confused:

Frontline works well, but it's by prescription only. People say it is definitely worth the dough, a little goes a long way.

Frontline spray is not by prescription.

I use it for my animals that have bugs.

I must be thinking of something else then.

Frontline is supposed to be sold by vets only in some places, but you can buy it on ebay.
