Baby Sulcata's

Ok Here we go these are some of the baby Sulcata's that started hatching on X-Mas day. I just brought out some because all of a sudden they just start taking off and run everywhere. So here you go.

I have not really posted on here about my Sulcata's , so here we go. The first pic is there house, i Florida it does get cold. We sometimes have winter days where I live on a peninsula that may get to 40 degree's at night. Which would be to cold for the tortoise's. Therefore I built them a nice house that is heated during the winter. When it was 40 degree's outside it was 77 inside there house, they loved it.

The next pic is Frank, The smaller one he is around 7 years old and the larger one is Sally she is about 8 years old. They are enjoying there summertime Hibiscus. I then have Speedy also posted below the smaller of the three. I have had Speedy for about 4 years. They are great animals as long as you have the space that they need.

Awesome pics!! Where do you get all those hibicus blooms for them to eat?

We have 2 Hibiscus bushes at work and I pick the Hibiscus for them 3 times a week.
Yes I know the guy that take care of the landscape and they do not get sprayed at all. This is something you have to watch for. Do not pick blooms from a source that you do not no if they have been sprayed with chemicals. Be Careful about Blooms that are near roads that my get chemicals on them from car exhaust. I am just very careful. Everyone thinks I am crazy for picking all the flowers 3 times a week , like I am going to make a salid out of them. I just tell them they are for my Tortoise's then they understand.

The pics only load half way for me (I'm on dial up...), but how much do your adults weigh? Also how do you manage vet visits? If you need one of course. Do you just load them up in your truck or something or the your vet make house calls? Also how much food do they go thru a week?
