My favorite Dwarf Locals -
Re: My favorite Dwarf Locals -
What a lovely snake BT. How big do they get generally? I don't know much about the Dwarves at all. Nice to hear they have a typical boa laid back attitude like I'm used to with the Colombians.

4 - 4 1/2 foot...I found some older (April 07) pics...I took these pics before my youngest boy messed up all the settings on my camera...LOL...They have a redish marroon that creeps up their sides and the bellies are solid redish - marroon...Really pretty Boas...

Re: My favorite Dwarf Locals -
how is this comparable to the honduran fire belly?
Re: My favorite Dwarf Locals -
Corn island is from off the coast of Nicaragua. Honduran "firebelly" which was at one time claimed to have came from Roatan island has not too long ago been said by Dennis Sargent to have no paperwork supporting they were indeed from the Roatan island. I know in temperment, so many of the firebellies are a nightmare when it comes to handling. Bite, squirm, poop, bite, and squirm some more.
This informantion about the history was told to me by a keeper and breeder of about a half dozen firebellies from the "Roatan" line
