Re: FIRE/Normal comparison
Brad, it's T
I hate to be the one to say this...but your Fire is not a Fire. I sent picture to my close friend who's familiar with Fire. And he said...
JUST KIDDING!!! sorry man, I've been working all day and have been drinking coffee non-stop lol
Seriously Brad, great looking Fire. So they're getting brighter and brighter each time they shed? Or they don't change much compare to when they hatch? Keep me in mind when you successfully breed him :) I would love to play with fire ;)
Re: FIRE/Normal comparison
Hi T!
LOL-not scared-I got him from an unimpeachable source of Davies Line FIREs (Brad Armitadge). Yes, he and his mate do seem to get lighter with every shed.
I'm going to start breeding attempts with him later this winter, all depends on how precocious he is. I'll be in touch!

Re: FIRE/Normal comparison
Beautiful! Even though I've read a lot about Fires I still have a hard time distinguishing them, and truthfully I don't think I could!
The pic is a helpful reference for weenies like myself that haven't seen enough of them to tell the subtle difference.
Re: FIRE/Normal comparison
Nice picture!
The more fires I see, like my own animals, they all have the same typical wacko pattern, dorsal lines from one side to the other over the back.
Re: FIRE/Normal comparison
My male BP (which people say is a normal but I am sure he's not!) has the same coloring, and a pattern that's similar but not as busy...
A question.. is it possible to get fires that are C.H.?
Love yours btw.
Got any more pictures?
Re: FIRE/Normal comparison
Certainly possible-ANY morph could turn up in a batch of C.H. African babies-and certainly it would also be possible for a FIRE to be overlooked by the various people who go through these batches looking for morphs.
You'll just have to breed it and and see!
