I've never built a rack so I can't give you any first hand experience, but here are some threads that might be of some help...

They can't get out of a tub with a lid if you have the proper clips or fasteners for it. Just the lid itself = easy escape. Add some binder clips or small bungee cords like mine and they're not getting out. :)

As for a rack, check out those threads and do a search here in the forums for rack building and you should find some great tips. As for me, my 'rack' is a plastic shelving unit from Lowes. :)

Just remember if you do it with lids then you have to totally remove the tub to then remove the lid to get to the snakes. Kind of a pain.

your posts are so hard to read, you should use some commas or periods. makes it a lot easier.

its a preference. like sparky said, do you want to take it all the way out just to open it, or do you want to be able to open it part way just by sliding.

    but seriously....try some periods.

I'm sorry, I type very fast and just over look some things...... How much do you guys think it would cost to make a rack that would hold 5 to 6 snakes?
