    i just got a new ball every time i try to get him out he gets like rigamortis , stuck in the striking positon he wont get out of if no matter what he sits like that for like 10 minutes and then he just goes back into his hid

    will he grow out of this in a couple days ?
    does this happen with new ball pythons ?

    Yeah just give him some time, they eventually mellow out. It may take longer than you would like but be patient, it takes time. Remember they are wild animals even if they are captive bred.

    yeah just give the snake 1week to adapt to his/her cage and then start handling.make sure you only handle for no more than a half an hour at time.just to get him used to you. But make sure you do it at least once a day for a few weeks. Then you ch start holding him for longer periods of time and when ever you want. Hope this helps.
