Should I hold off feeding before move?
    Hi,

I was wondering about what to do before moving snakes between homes?

Once the rack is working to my satisfaction I will be moving all my ball pythons into it and will try and leave them alone to settle in for a week as much as possible.

Should I hold off feeding them the week before so that once the settling in period is over they are hungrier than normal or feed as normal and move once they have had a cople of days to digest?

Just trying to decide which way would cause the least stress.

Personally I'd move them empty Derek, let them settle in a few days and then offer food. If that means skipping a feed and all the snakes are of good body weight and so forth, then I wouldn't worry about a missed week. Most of mine never fuss much about a tub move but you have the occasional one that throws a "I'm not about to eat in this new place" fit.

Feed them a couple of days before moving them and they will have 4-5 days to settle before their next feed.
