    10 year old
Hey all. Just looking for some info. How well would a 10 year old BP take to owner/environment change? How long is life expectancy? What issues should be checked on in a snake of this age? Would it be unreasonable to try and change prey type (live vs f/t)? Or feeding in seperate bin for a snake this age? Thanks!

Age is usually not a huge factor in changing hands or in any different treatment other than eating less (if you choose) and shedding less often.
Life expectancy is around 20+ years.
Just make sure the snake is healthy, and all should be fine.
Change prey items if you need to, as long as the snake takes it! :)

I think the oldest BP was 48 when it died and I handle a BP that is 15 yrs old and she is still in her prime. She's as active and sweet as she was when she was 1. So your snake should be cool with everything, it's more of a personality thing.
