new yellow bellied slider ! help?
ive adopted a hatchling yellow belly slider from a friend who just got it and is now moving so cant look after it.... i dont mind taking the little thing in but i could do with some info. ive set up a tank with under water area and an area of rocks coming out of the water he can acces with the water at 27 degrees celcius from what ive found oout online .. the food i have for him is dried turtle food which seems to include shrimps etc.

i was just wondering is there ther things i need to do for the little fella? ive read i shoudl really get him a basking lamp and feed him some small bits of cuttlefish... for calcium also get sme terrapin pellets. anyone feel like giving me some experienced info as i cant find a help sheet that has real experience he hasent eaten yet and i wouldent want him to die.

    thanks
