big female

My big female which started breeding in late Oct look's very lazy and big, she lay's out all day doesn't move much. Do you guy's think theres anything to this could she be far along in the process. She's not huge or anything but she hasn't been eating for awhile now and still look's busty. Now my other smaller girl still eat's and look's a little more active. What do you guy's think about what I'm describing?

Have you tried to palpate her? She could be close, I have a few here I'm watching close...

I'm scared to mess with her to much I touch her body and she feels very full. I haven't been able to learn the palpating thing yet.

i was having the same thing go on. i think i missed my girl going into ovulation now all a sudden she gained almost 350 grams in about a month. this is my first clutch and i really dont know the first time my guy and girl may have locked up cuz it was an accident. shes in shed if that matters at all and keeps layin on the side of her head.. its weird its like shes playing dead.
