    Macbook Pro/Airport Extreme/External Sound Card?
For those of you that are mac users out there, do you know if I can connect an external sound card to the usb input on my airport extreme hub? I think it should work but I am concerned that the software won't recognize the sound card because it is connected to the computer wirelessly. If you do not know the answer to the questions but know where I might be able to find these answers I would be happy to have that input too. Thanks!

I thought the USB port was there so it could be used as a print server? I'm not sure about hooking up a sound card. I would try the forums on Apple's support page; they're pretty good. I'm sure you'll get a more solid answer there.

Ya the usb port is there for a printer. I was just wondering if there was a way to possibly make this work. I will check out the forums there and see what they have to say.

In reading the material that came with the airport extreme, it says that the usb port can also be used with a hard drive so it must be useful for more than just printing. I wonder if i could hook up a usb hub to that usb port to create more options.

Hmmmm...maybe it could be expanded. I imagine there might even be some 3rd party software that would allow you to use it for other things if it's not natively supported.
