    Decision & a Question
Well, I've decided what my future plans for more ball pythons will be... :)
It's in my new signature, but I figured I'd post it in a thread anyways.

    Spider - Female
    Pastel - Male
    Het. Axanthic - Female
    Axanthic - Male
    Mojave - Female

    :D Woo! :D

The question I have is related to Husbandry though, not sure if I should post it in an entirely new thread though. I hope it's okay if I just post it here :)

So far, I have both of my ball pythons in tanks. 20L's. When I get more, should I continue to use tanks? I've been hearing some people say they use 'tubs' when they might have more than a couple of little buddies, but I don't really know what would be considered a 'tub'. Also, are they more cost-efficient than tanks? Just in the way of price for the tub itself compared to a tank. How are they heated? Are they big enough, etc etc... All that kind of stuff :)

Inform me of these so called... "tubs". :P Lol.

This is typically the kind of set ups people run when using tubs.

While it is possible to use tubs in a non rack type set up like in the links above most people opt for them because....

a)Tubs are much easier to clean and maintain husbandry requirements.
b)Multiple snakes can fit in a relatively small space
c)You can control mulptile racks of the same type with one thermostats

I opted for the 32qt sideways racks at www.boaphile.com they also offer some quality racks. If you plan on getting more snakes I would recommend a rack set up.

We have a 32 sideways rack, and a short rack for 12 qts. Much easier than a tank or aquarium.

Ive just got a couple sterilite tubs stacked on top of eachother and they work great. The amount of space I was using for one bp in a tank i now have 2 bps and a blood. And I use less to heat them and spray them less. In my opinion the switch from tanks to tubs was a great idea.
