will a 5'x2'x18" enclosure house a full grown hog island boa or should it be bigger?

I usually see them in like 4x3s. it just a little deeper and not as long. but that is about the same floor space

I have my large juvi in a 60, and that should be good for the rest of his life. from what ive read

sounds like that would work great for the boa, i have my 2 year old hog in a 50gal, and am ordering a 4x2 cage for her sometime next year
