Opinions? Spider or Pastel!

Hello all!

I just have a small question. :)
Eventually, I want to get another ball python (Yay for BP love.. :P), so I'm looking for some advice. Well. More of an opinion, actually.

I'm looking forward to making the next purchase from 8Ball Pythons, I've heard so many great things about them & Adam! So, when I do make a purchase, I'm looking to get either a female Spider or Pastel.

My question is, which one do you guys like?

I recently was pondering the same question and ended up buying a female spider. When I weighed all the factors that I could see, the most redeeming quality of the pastel seemed to be the price that they are available for. With the spider it was all the combos than can be made from them. I will probably end up with a nice pastel one day but that is the way that I looked at it when faced with the same decision.

Go with what you like - I happen to love pastels, so that was my first choice when I decided. It's taken awhile for spiders to grow on me, but they finally have!

I love both and own both, to me they are both MUST have (think about all those great combos ;) )

My recomendation is...get a male pastel and female spider XD Bumble bees!

You should get a male pastel or spider. there both dom/co-dom traits so you could still get spiders or pastel when bred to a normal girl, and boy snakes are cheaper in a lot of cases. Id go with spider, though the spinning freaks me out a little. I own both right now so I win!

Male spider and female pastel. U could breed the male to the female and some norms and get a bunch of spiders, couple pastels and if your lucky a bumblebee. Price wise probably the better way to go

My local breeder should have some spiders this spring I have dibs on a female. I say get a spider. I really like them so I'm sort of biased though.:D

Spider females are awesome I have one that's what I would get if I were you. You could always get a pastel male later. Adam has some nice bp's especially spiders
