    What set up?
hi what kind of set up would you recommend here in the philippines? Now in dec we experience a low of 76f and a high of 84f, its very warm here & humid. Often times we use here are aquarium tanks with hide boxes & screen for air movement. I used to keep balls way back inhighschool but now am planning to get back on it seriously, plan to start breeding. Hope you experts can steer me in the right direction. Thanks & merry x mas to all!

I am no expert but that sounds Ideal to me. I would just keep him/her in a aquriaum with a mesh top on it. depending on the size a 20 gallon long should be good. A hide on one side and a water bowl in the other. I use Aspen snake bedding. Other than that I don't think you need a heat lamp. But I am no expert like these guys...I just thought I would throw in my opinion.

you will want something to regulate the temps better than just nature. A UTH would be ideal. 10 gallon tank is more than big enough. Just put a hide on the cool side and a hide on the warm spot and a water dish someplace in between. Welcome.

thank you so much for your inputs & suggestions, will surely take it all into account. What I mentioned here are the temp range in dec, but in summer it really gets hot& sweaty. (80f-100+f) that's why I don't use any heat source. I have 2 hide box on each side, the other one is just plain black plastic tub, the other, for the cool side, an insulated kind of a bag so it won't get hotinside, if I' ok breed them, what would me my mating season? It start's to rain by april til nov.

mating season is underway now. Your females should be above 1500g from what i'm told. And your males above 600g. But some people like BP get away with really small boys. But they're pros.
