    blood after shed?
    Hi,
One of my bigger girls just shed and I noticed a few drops of blood on her newspaper. I couldn't find any places on her that looked cut or anything, and she had a complete shed. I think I remember reading somewhere that occasionally they will bleed around their vent during shed? and that as long as it is not a lot of blood then this is normal? Just wanted to make sure that I didn't need to be taking her to the vet. Also, I was going to breed her starting in January. Should I give her a little more time, so as not to aggervate the situation? Thanks, and have a Merry Christmas!

Sometimes a little blood my seep from the vent during the shed process, usually nothing to worry about.
