    Black cat; older, getting white flecks..
    Our older black cat, Inky, is starting to really get salt-and-peppery. You can notice it a lot in this photo from today; white hairs growing in sporadically. Is this similar to humans' hair graying, maybe? He is about 13 years old now.. still as spry as he was at age 8 when we adopted him. A bit chubby though..

    just gettin grey hair, cats and dogs grey just like we do, just cant tell on 90% of em

    We had a dog that got grey, but we didn't notice it until years after she was gone. I found a picture of when she was younger and her whole head was black (she was a black and white cocker spaniel) and later say a picture from when she was older....most of her mussle and a line going up between her eyes was solid white. :P It was such a big difference, but since she was already black and white, we didn't notice the "grey" as it came in.
