    Vet visit
So my baby ball had her first vet visit today and it went really well. I took her in because I thought she may have the beginnings of a RI, but when the vet checked her out she said she was fine. He asked me about my husbandry and he said I was doing pretty well (thanks to a lot of the info I found here), He also said my snake was the healthiest he had ever seen and wasn't going to charge me, which ofcourse put a huge smile on my face  (pretty good for a first time owner :D). He did however suggest to raise the humidity to about 70%... He looked at his books before he told me that number. He also shocked me with a.. "I think your female maybe a male.."":O The vet wasn't comfortable with probing him or her until he or she gets a little bigger. So I'm going back in 3 months. He or she was hatched sometime in June or July, weighs 186g and is about 21 inches.

These forums are definately a great source of info :D

So if he didn't actually check, what makes him think it's a male?

I'd be cautious of a vet that has to look up humidity levels and tells you to keep it at 70%. It should only be that high during shed.
