Day 53 - 58

I am on Day 53 today........

I leave on day 58 for holiday.

Although I will have someone looking after them I really want to see them and place them in their containers myself so I know they are healthy and safe.

What should I do If I get to day 57 with no hatch?

How long are you going to be gone for? If it's not too long they will be fine for a few days just being left in the incubator. I would just maybe leave a little water in there for them.

I will be gone for two weeks so it's a bit long............

What temps you incubating at?

It varies between 88.3 and 89

Normally around 88.4

That's a tough call...I usually cut mine on Day 51 but I incubate at 90F...Incubating at 88F I would bet they wouldn't pip on their own until around day 58 - 60...

I really wanted to see them pip myself

I incubate at 89F, the earliest mine will pip is day 57... the rest seem to follow a day later and spread over a few days.

My guess is day 59F for yours

Is my temp too low?

I thought 88-90 was optimum

I'd say your temps are fine, they will hatch at those temps.
