Tokay substrates

I have spent a great deal of time reading about Tokay care. I have yet to find anything regarding impaction issues with these guys.

Does anyone know if this is a risk with Tokays? I am sure there is probably some, but everyone I have talked to has said they use coco fiber, moss, bark.

Any input is appreciated.

I did see that. I still can't find anything directly related to impaction though.:(


A Tokay gecko is like having a pet meat grinder:D

They are very large geckos, with a nasty attitude, and a reputation for a painful bite, and not letting go.
