    picky eater
Anyone have any good methods for feeding a 07 picky eater? He ate his first week I had him then missed the next and then was very blue eyed in shed the following week so he didn't eat then. All my temps are right on and my humidity. Any good ideas. Oh and Ive converted my other three new ones to F/T with no problem but he seems to be a challenge.

    1. What are you trying to feed this picky eater?
    2. What size enclosure do you have it in?

f/t rat fuzzies. All of my babies are in 6qt tubs, with small black hides and a small waterdish.

I just ordered my helix and all my heat tape from Rich Yesterday. it should be here wednesday and I am moving friday so I will be putting it together maybe x-mas day. I have everything I need to put it together. I was thinking of putting each level on a red lighted rocker switch so if I am not using a level I can turn it off. I may change my mind on that since I will have the rack full at all times any way so why would I need it.

I don’t know what weight your snake is at or how long it has not been eating but if you are trying to get it to eat f\t and this is only the second week then try again with the f\t. But if this snake is young without much weight then try whatever he ate last so you can get a meal or two into him and then you can try to switch back to the f\t. I think a nice warm f\t at night would work the best since sometimes if the prey gets cold they don’t want it and they feel more secure at night when everything is quite.

Ya I'm going to try another warm f/t fuzzy rat tomorrow night when I get home from work and school. I'll also weight him tomorrow night. I'll get back to you tomorrow if he takes it or not.

If he is not eatting and you want him to eat do not weigh him. I would just wait until dark and then place the warm f\t in there and hope for the best.
