Solved: Low Humidity in a 20 gal long
We have had our BP for three months. As soon as the summer humidity dropped off in September, humidity has been a constant problem in our BP's 20 gal long tank. Misting helped, but did not solve the problem. Mostly, it caused spikes and drops in both humidity and temperatures (inverse relationship).

We moved Mrs. Snake into our son's room (a smaller bedroom than our own) on his dresser and placed a small elephant humidifier next to it. The humidifier runs all the time, but only outputs about a gallon a day, maximum. It is next to the tank, but not up high enough for the humidity to fall directly into the tank. (Will add a picture to this post later.)

Eureka! We have not misted for at least two days, and the humidity remains 50-60% on both sides of the head gradient!

We look forward to her next shed with anticipation. Hopefully, it will go much better than those that came before!
