i dont have a way to measure heat or humidty...what kinda hygrometer and thermometer should i buy and if you know of a website i could get them off of that would be great

I got the flukers it has hygrometer and thermometer in one. You can get it from reptilesupply.com. They are a great place to get supplies from online, but you may want to check around.

I use the accurite with the thermometer and hygrometer in one with a probe. $12 at walmart. ;)

Acurite combo with indoor/outdoor/hygrometer. It's a lot better and more reliable (unless you get it wet) than the flukers.

is the flukers one pritty accurate? thats the one i have. but there is no way of telling weather or not is accurate.

We used a flukers, and bought the acurite because of the probe, and it being easier to just go and buy it from wallyworld. The flukers is stuck on the wall now, and usually reflects the ambient temps and humidity within a few degrees of the other ones we have placed around the room. Our's works fine in that sense. I like to be able to see the outside (probe) and inside temps and humidity all on one screen. I just prefer the acurite's and have a bunch all over the place in our room. :P

does an accurite or a helix have a probe?
