    tub set up help
I'm moving my friends boa into a tub and helping him get rid of his glass tank. So of course I have some questions.

the snakes is about 3 feet right now and i believe he is an 07.

1)Tub size? I have my ball pythons in tubs right now but am not sure what would be best for his snake.
2)Does a boa need two or one hides?

As far as heat goes he doesn't have the money for a thermostat so what I'm going to get a heat pad from reptile basics which usually does not need a thermostat because of such low wattage. I believe they stay below 95 so we should be good. So thats that for now.
    Thanks

Ive never heard of this. I would be looking into at least a johnson control, to control the heat source. I believe all rich has as far as heat source is flexwatt. You definantly want a tstat for that. But Im not a boa guy so thats really all i can help you with. TSTAT for sure!!!:gj:

yea you are going to need a big tub and a thermostat. If he cant afford to take GOOD care of his snake he shouldnt have one. The glass tank isnt bad if he can get the right humidity and temps. I would suggest for a boa because they grow too big for most tubs go to animalplastics.com and get a cage. atleast 36in long
