Bad greyish scales on my addopted BP
My adopted BP has a few greyish and bad looking perhaps damaged scales on it's back and a few on its head. Is that scale rott? his belly is fine no rusty color, or is this associated with the mite bytes. She was infested with mites when I got her the other day. Also the snake is about to shedd if that has anything to do with it . Any help is greatly appreciated . I'll take pictures tonight

Do you have any pictures? I know that after a shed, sometimes my BP's will have what looks like dried wrinkly scales on their head, and maybe a few on the dorsal. I as worried that it might be a fungal infection, but they went away with his next shed. If you had a picture, we may be able to help identify them. :)

It's not scale rot. It's harmless and can be equated to patches dry skin that we get sometimes. It'll go away with the next shed, although a different little patch of gray scales may pop up somewhere else.
