    Interesting fenomena
Hi, most of you already know this, but for me is ralitevely new. Once a BP's have catch their prey, they seems no to pay much attention to its surroundings. Sometimes I give a prey to a ball, take it out of its tub, clean the tube, add water and then return the snake to the tray, all of these during constriction!!! Sorry for my english..

I find it interesting, im not surprised though. i wouldnt think they would let go of a prey once they get ahold of it.. otherwise they wouldnt gain weight/grow in the wild if everytime something bumped them they let their prey go. im just saying, its probally not a great idea to bother your ball while feeding for a number of reasons.. thats just my 0.02 though.

Interesting. But I bet it varies by snake. They all have their own personalities and idiosyncracies when it comes to eating.

Might want to leave him alone though - poor guy.

Why are you messing with him while eating? Why not clean the tubs and do the house keeping some other time since they only eat once a week?

    thats what im talking about!

i wonder how much "flipping" at the dinner table it will take until your bp stops coming to dinner.

looks very intersesting but i would let him eat in peace...

Hey!! This was just for demostration porpouses, when I clean the tubs I grab the snake with a lot of care for abuout two secons out and then two more when return the snake to its tub, I never had a snake not willing to end its meal after this short handling.
The fact is that I can not be absolutely sure if I really bother the snake or not, so you guys are probably right
    Thanks for your comments!!!

My male Bob lets go if you even wave at him while he's constricting. I would think if that were done to often, he'd quit going for the mouse.
