Thanks a lot everyone! Everytime I look at these things, I just love them more and more! Unless their mouth is open and flying at me. :8:

The last picture has lots of blue in it??? Is that the snake?? or just the flash??? Outstanding animals! I can even imagine trying to hold one of them, let alone feed the monsters! lol
    AWESOME!

That's mainly just the flash off of the irredecence, those patternless yellows are a pain to get good pics of. Feeding isn't bad since most of them wont snap at their food, or eat whenever you're in the room, handling on the other hand, that can be fun sometimes.

The iridescence on the last one is beautiful. I love highly iridescent snakes! I don't really like the thickness of the neck that Anacondas have, but that's just my aesthetic preference. They are impressive and powerful animals, though...and I do appreciate that!

By having necks like that, they can actually bite at almost a complete 90 degree angle, they don't need to coil back or anything to snap (although, they can and will do so still), they just open and swing back and forth until they hit something, which makes them so much more fun to deal with aggressives.

Everyonce in awhile you'll come across one with a huge head and slim neck though, some just develop differently I guess. Bites still hurt as bad either way. :8:

    Thanks!
