Little Green Squares

The little green squares by peoples names, what are they? some people have one, some have a lot. some say certain things, some dont. can someone explain?

Its part of the reputation system, the more you have the better community reputation that you have. The sayings are just little things added to different "levels" of reputation.

They represent the person's level of rep points, Pat.

As far as I know, it's based on how many postive rep points you have. The more pos. rep, the more little squares you have. I'm not sure how many post rep points = one square, though!
