    FEEDING PROBLEM, Help me please
Last time i feed my BP at the beginning of december, she didn't eat, I think it's because the weathers gettin colder and her metabolism is going down. I need some advice. How often should i feed my BP in the winter? Advice please?

Once a week, if she'll take it. I know my big girl wont eat, though my male will, and the male I just got rid of was eating great, too. Her humidity and temps are great- I just cant figure it out..

The outside temps shouldn't affect your BP IF the temps in the tub are kept constant. However, sometimes they will fluctuate as the house temps fluctuate. And that can throw them off feed. Also, there's nothing we can do about the barametric pressure that comes with weather changes. It seems that snakes are sensitive to that, so even if you are able to maintain perfect temps and humidity year 'round...they may still feel the difference in weather and trigger a season of light eating.

If the snake begins to consistently refuse (and all other reasons for refusal have been ruled out)....you can drop your offerings down to every two weeks and maybe try slightly smaller prey size than usually offered. Be glad when the snake eats....don't worry too much if it doesn't.

Its just that time of year for balls.... My male hasnt eaten for about 7 weeks now. I try every friday, f/t and live and I guess he hasn't been in the mood. But snakes can go months without eating in the wild

Just like you do year round, once a week.

First it has only been 9 days so there is nothing to be concerned about however you need to make sure that your husbandry is OPTIMAL so this behavior does not persist.

How long have you had your snake for?
    How old is your BP?
How big is your snake (length, weight)?
What type of enclosure do you use?
    How big is your enclosure?
Is your enclosure in a low traffic area?
What are your temps (cool & warm side)?
    What is your humidity?
What type of thermometer/hygrometer do you use (dial, stick,or digital)?
What kind of hides do you provide (log, homemade, cubbyholes etc) and how many do you have?
Are your hides tight (all side touching your BP's body) and identical?
What do you usually feed to your BP (Rat, Mice and size)?
How often do you handle your BP
    Is your BP in shed?
    Is your BP healthy?
