    my bp has a lot of aggression WHY? HELP!!
    hi i just recentally bought i new baby bp. and for the first week everything was goin great. i could hold her anytime i wanted to and she was able to be held by anyone. now a little more then a week later. i cant even stand by her tank or she strikes at the side thinking im there. i go near the light and she does it also just striking. she was never like this before. this aggression has been going on for almost a week. she eats and is not shedding wats is the other reasons.

    Hi. Can you please tell us a little about your set up?

    How is it heated? How are your temps and humidity measured?

    Tanks are notorious for problems, due to insecurities. Tubs are a personal preference among many.

    You can try this for now, to see if it helps... Ball up some newspaper and line it along the bottom.

    First of all tell us a little about your set up. Aggression can be a sign of stress.

    What is your animal housed in?
    What are your temps and how are you messuring them?
    How many hides are you offering?
    What size hides are you offering?
    When did it last eat?

    So you've had this "baby bp" for what about 2 weeks? During that time you and others held her a lot the first week....correct?

    Let's get the basic information down that the others have asked for and start there.

    Yep, give some clear info on setup. If she was handled 'a lot' during her first week, then she's totally stressed out...hence the striking to try and keep those 'huge hands' away from her.
