    Salmon Boa Female (DUW)
So yesterday my gf and I followed up on a CL ad for Salmon Boas. We went to the location, and was in love. (not to mention we could care for them better than they could). Here is one of the females. She was titled as a "Salmon Boa", but that was it. Anyone have any suggestions as to what she is? Thanx so much!

didnt knwo there was a "super salmon" i suppose there could be..

thats just what i found, there were lots of salmon boa pictures when you look up "salmon boa" under google image search, that was just a normal looking salmon one (not hypo, exc)..

perhaps a more seasoned boa owner can help

She looks like a hypomelanistic boa... I don't know if she's a salmon or not.

There are different lines of Hypo in boas, just like there are different lines of pastels in BPs, Lemon and Graziani. There's the Orange Tail line, the Salmon line, etc. So, for her to be a Salmon boa, she would have to be a hypo from that line... which is really hard to tell without proper paperwork.

Super hypos or super salmons have very little black on them, as well as very small saddles. They are usually very clean and very bright.

Nice pick-up... she should make some nice looking hypos for you down the road... or even, dare I say...... ghosts?!:D

Supers are normally quite a bit cleaner, with less black in them. Supers can, however, look quite a bit like normals... these are usually questionable as to whether or not they are really supers and are labeled as possibles (they will not be from a super to super breeding, but from normal hypo to normal hypo).

Supers are homozygous for the hypo gene. When bred to a normal, they will produce all supers.
