PETCO does what to ball pythons?!

I really can't see them intentionally starving any of their stock in the hopes it would look so bad someone would buy it.

It is much more likely any mistreatment that takes place is due entirely to ignorance of the animals needs rather than any malice towards it.

Again, I think it depends on the store.... While my PetCo isnt the greatest by far their snakes always look healthy and not starved, thought leopard geckos and beardies don't.

Matter of fact I bought my ball and one of my corns there

all my reptiles are as healthy as i can get them with out having a vet there to actually check them out i feed all bps on thursday all corns on friday. and everyone else eats every other day to everyday depending on the age and what they are all bowls are changed out daily unless im not there then i dont know what goes on.


and im sure most of you know i work at a petco also

Its always fun to see who else works at petshops. I work a PetSmart and help out at the local herp shop

Not as far as i know, i just befriended a huge snake enthusiast who has been my snake mentor. The problem with places like PETCO is they tend to have baby snakes, which are notorious for not wanting to eat. They do everything they can to get them to eat, i assure you.
