    funny wee pastel, and a hello to u all
    i got my pastel a few months ago and he is not realy a funny feeder but its the way i have to feed him thats is weird, he kinda wont strike or take if left in the box and if i try to assist i end up geting it i the finger but if i just hold him in my hand and toch his nose with the rat and hold it there he will strike it and eats evey time

    so just wanted to see if any body had herd of this or dose any body do this and how do i get him to strike in his box cause i dont fancy holding a 1kg royal while he strikes at a rat im holding lol
    o and hes a pissy little thing as well

    p.s im new here and the site looks great and just a great bog hello

    btw evy one seems to be from the states :( poor me all chilly up here in scotland lol

    Hi,

    I use tongs, sometimes I can hold it in his enclosure and she will just come up gently and take it from me. Other times she strikes it.

    Hi, i'm down south on the isle of wight.

    yeah i use tonges too and get stike feeds every time. i open up the viv a bit while the mouse is thawing in the water to help stimulate the feeding response and its taken quick.
