    Prices of new morphs
Just wanted to get some opinions from everyone out there... What do you think a newly discovered, genetically proven, new morph of ball python should be worth? In 2003 Ralph Davis paid $70,000 for an unproven, imported white ball python. Will Slough priced his Banana at 80K this year. Do you think new morphs still command this high of a price?

i think the snake market is going down to sell more cuz some prices are unreasanable
and im thinking your thinking of the lunesetic bp also i seen a albino anaconda for 75k and then the guy lowered it to 30 k with 2 males to breed with but no one is intrested cuz its way tooooooo much money now i think some snakes will be alot more reasonable

It was later discovered that the white snake Ralph purchased was an Ivory.

When Ralph found out what he had bought was in fact, an ivory... he realized he paid a little too much for it. He bought the snake before an ivory was ever produced in captivity. Ivories are no where near 70,000 today.

I myself have "Lilly"............she is a female "Ivory" that I imported from Africa as a baby in 2003..........to the tune of $70,000.00!!........then I find out that for the past three years I have been producing "Yellow Bellies" aka "Goblin Markers"........I knew they were "weird" and I would have eventually line bred them...........I guess I should have worked a little faster on that one huh?

Last price I saw on the banana was 60K.... hard to instill confidence in potential buyers when you drop the price like that.

Makes it look a little shaky!

So would anyone like to share their opinion about the monetary worth of a new morph?
