Boy sleeps with snake?

I came accross this story today...apparently i think in Cambodia, parents found a 20" burmese in their 3 month old baby's crib and they returned it to the jungle but it just kept coming back, and now the boy has slept with the snake every night for six years...what do you guys think?? i feel like that snake could get very hungry one night...and that kid seems pretty small....

Snake looks like he's eating well, that's for sure. Looks very healthy for a wild snake.

But I agree, from the angle that kid was laying on him, the snake could make a nice meal out of him.

Maybe he speaks Parseltongue? :P

Four people at work today have called me over to see this thing and everytime someone says my name I know exackly what they want to show me. It's really getting annoying!
I saw it on CTV New this morning (I think it was CTV) but anyway they said that it eats something like 20 chickens and 10 ducks a day. A DAY! (I might be a little off on the exact number)
There is no way that a snake could ever eat that much! NO WAY!

I think it is a stupid story personally, and I have a weird feeling they never put the snake back in the jungle. I can't see the snake wanting to be friends with this little boy!
It's just another weird weird story that is probably half true!!

Yeah, I'm surprised the snake doesn't freak out when he rides it around and wrangles its head so non chalantly.

ya i agree i don't think the snake would keep on coming back, if it did they probably just put it outside their house or they had animals near their house that if fed from...and it doesn't really look like they can afford to feed it 10 ducks a day...probably just one big meal a week.

Yeah I could see maybe and thats a maybe, two goats a week. Even one goat a week would keep him pleased... If they can even afford that in there country.
