    Frost haitian brown
    My haitian brown hasnt ate in about two 2- 3 weeks or so and it doesnt even have a big abdomen i also noticed the top of its abdomen ( the opposite side of the spinnerettes) has this white- ish color to it kinda like frost and its also on the sides...anyone know what this is?....You can actually see it really good here...

    i've never kept this species of tarantula before.. but a lot of tarantulas are known for going long periods of time without eating. i had one who didn't eat for 4 months before, and then started eating again and is doing just fine.
    how long ago was its last moult?

    Hi,

    How big is he and do you have close ups of his pedipalps?

    Just wondered if any colour change was maturity related and he'd hit the magic age or something.

    it's ok if they go for some time without eating, it's normal. just keep offering crickets until it eats. its also possible that its surroundings might be too cold?
