CA Animal Laws

Where can one go to find out what is and what is not legal in there area. ive been to the animal regulation website, but that was not much help. i dont have any particular animal in question, was just wondering.

Each city and county have different ordinances and regulations. Ordinarily your Dept. of Animal Control, the Pound, will have these regulations available for the public. Finding them on the websites can be a pain in the butt.

well my city doesnt allow exotic pets but i have snakes anyway cuz people have parrots and iggys soo im like wtf you can have thoes but i cant have my snakes. some citys allow snakes under 10 ft and some dont have any rules on exotic pets i suggest you go check the law book on yoyr city if im correct
