    Too many silkworms!
Last weekend at the Mississauga show I picked up about 50 silkworms for my leopard gecko (at the petstores here, silkies are $1 each!). They are in their adult stage and my gecko is eating at best, 2 a day. Some have already started cocooning. This isn't that big of a problem because maybe I can keep the moths and have them breed. But I don't want ALL of them to just cocoon and go to waste. My question is, is it ok to give some to my breeder rats as a treat? Or is that a serious no-no? And also we have 2 pet guinea pigs, could they eat them too?

My ratties love occasional mealworms and crickets, so I would think silkworms would be ok as a treat.
