Pics of Apache; first in awhile..
Here are a few shots of Apache tonight. I haven't posted my boy in awhile so here goes!

Who's the red-eyed freak he's with? I am sure you know..

Full body shot. A tad busy, but I think that the contrasti-ness of the blankies adds texture.

And who could dislike a cute little boa face?? "What rat? I only eat tofu!"

Aw, he's beautiful. :) I like his name. I agree, your house definitely does seem interesting. I have a bunch of dead animal parts, too. Mostly skulls. I'd love some really good deer antlers/sheds. Your hair is stunning, by the way! I wish I could get mine to look that healthy and shiny!

We have a shelf of skulls. They are all ones that I either found in the woods, or they were deer that Mark shot. The cloeset thing I have to a former pet's remains, is a horned frog skull. One of my frogs contracted red-leg years back and died. I buried him, and forgetting where, I dug up his bones while gardening. I couldn't let such a cool skull go to waste!
    No human remains though :O

I have a few other things too. I keep telling Mark that he has to get a nice buck so we could have an actual deer head on the wall! Go figure.. his cousin got the only big buck this year.. and his wife thinks that deer heads are 'yucky', so he didn't get it mounted..
I have a raccoon out in the freezer, awaiting butchering. mark's friend got it, and said that they taste like roast beef?? I will inform all once I find out.. never ate one. But I told Mark that he has to make me a Daniel Boone cap out of it!
My secret to long, shiny hair? Dye from Sally Beauty. I had it a nice, dark red, but it has changed now into an almost fox-like red. My hair is like the trees outside; it changes color every once in awhile. But it does not fall out in autumn!
