    how long
Im new to the site and checking out all the breeders that are out there and im confused when it says for a particular snake that they weigh 75 or 150 or 200 grams. Is there a way of determining the length of the snake??

Yea and no, weight and length are highly variable. Most people use weight since alot of people breed there snakes weight is alot easier to obtain, than a length. Just to add everyone i have ever seen for sale is by weight. Even with they list weight they usually list a hatch date so you have an idea of how old they are.

The easiest and most accurate way that I have found to measure the length of a snake is with the program "Snake Measurer". Take a picture from directly above the snake, along with something of known length (a ruler works really well!), and load it into the program. Set the length to the object (ruler), trace the snake, and it will tell you the length of the snake. You can download it here on this site...
