Sizes of Rats in the store
The closest place to get rats by me is at the local Petco store, however their supply is less then wonderful. They list rats as the following:

    Baby Rat
    Medium Rat
    Large Rat

Here is my question: Is the medium rat a different breed from the large rat, or is it just a juvenile rat that is not yet grown?

Either way, I need smaller rats: around 70grams or so live for my BP these days and they are hard to find.

Anyone know of any stores in the Essex/Morris County New Jersey area to pick up some live rats besides the ever popular Petco??

    Thanks,
    -Ben

    hello!

the mediums are just younger than the "large". once they get too big they will just switch tanks.

I think the small rats might be too big still actually..

sorry i dont know any pet stores in that area..
