my feelings for Goliath

Okay, I've always liked snakes well most animals actually. Got myself some corn snakes and totally love having them, their endless color possibilities and generally their personalities. Have adored BP's from afar but now that I got Goliath, I have to say that I have become totally enamoured by him and bp's in general. I have only held him twice since getting him and each time was just for a few minutes (first time to put him into his new home, second time to make adjustments to his new home) but each time was just incredible.. for me at least.

Is this how it feels for everyone?

Balls are pretty special...I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone here doesn't agree with your sentiment. :)

It sure is Doris. Every single time with every single ball python, I just fall in love all over again. :)

Definitely!!! I was never really interested in ball pythons, until I started working at Petsmart. But now that I have one of my own, I can't get enough! We have 7 at the store I work at, every time i change their water (or do mite treatment on the 3 in the "sickroom") I always hold them and let them crawl around my arms and stuff. They are great!

I love these snakes. IMO they are the perfect size and temperament. Even my girl that is a little nippy is much easier to handle than the higher energy, faster colubrids IMO
