*sigh* Some people....

I put an add on Craigslist to adopt out a corn snake and I requested that interested parties have a reptile vet. Here is a response I got from someone.

"it's just a corn snake, needing a vet for adoption is crazy. as you would know, if you have to take a reptile to a vet, it is usually to late."

Just thought I'd share. Oh and of course if they don't have one doesn't mean I won't nessicarly adopt it out to them...I have a list of OH vets and will hand that out as well. But yeah....

People think they are ENTITLED to whatever they might want, despite it not being theirs yet.
Stick to your guns and give them that finger salute.

LOL thanks wolfy. Needless to say that person is out of the running for the little guy.

I'd write them back and tell them this:

I don't very well know that it's too late to take any animal to the vet when it is sick. I do know, that if it's too late to save your snake, you waited too damn long to take them to the vet in the first place.

How's that cold doing? Need a doctor? Eh, it's probably too late anyway...
