    keeping digi thermo in tank
does anyone keep there digi thermo inside their tank?the one i bought has an in and out reading and i was thinking of just putting it inside the tank so i can use the thermometer for one side and put the probe on the other side?do you think the snake will mess with it?

Since I like to know the ambient air temp as well, I have the in/out/humidity one inside on the back wall and a separate digi outside the tank with the probe on the cool side.

That's how mine is. The snake will sometimes knock it over, but they mostly don't mess with it. Even if it does get knocked over, it still reads everything just fine....you just have to pick it up to read it. :P

I got the 3 in one digital thermometer. I put the probe on the hot side just under the substrate and bought a sucktion cup for the back of the unit and attatched it to the side of the tank on the cool side. That way the snake cant knock it over
