would it be bad to keep a water bowl partially over a UTH source or off all together?

It would be beneficial if you were having a problem achieving proper humidity with the bowl in another spot.

When i used glass tanks i did found that it did help to have it over the uth it raised the humidity a considerable amount. Just remember warm water can be a great breeding ground for germs and bacteria! Just make sure you clean it frequently, i did at least twice a week and never had an issue.
