thermostats and digital temp/humidy sensors?
Ok i want to put my bp into my 40 G breeder and want to make sure his temp and humidity are accurate. i dont no what kind or where to get a reliable thermometer? also if regulating his temp. what product would be useful because my room where he is kept the temp fluctuates alot so its def a pain to keep his temp where it should be. any advice on what i should pick up. thanks.

It's nice to be able to use two different sources for reading temps. I like to use a digital indoor/outdoor thermometer with a temp probe on a long wire. (you can pick them up anywhere) Secure the probe right on top of the heat source so you can see what the temps are over the basking site at a glance. I also like to use a temperature gun to spot check other areas in the cage (like the kind you get from proexotics. http://www.tempgun.com/main.html ) I've got two of those temp guns and I rely on them a lot.

As Marks stated a good indoor/outdoor thermometer works great you can also get some that measure humidity so you can cover it all with one. Temp guns are always handy. To actually control the temps you can pick up a thermostat, some are more expensive than others but work on the same principal. Personally i have one on each end of the price spectrum doing different things but both work great!
