    have a quetion... i cleaned out my snakes tank today and noticed that there was some blood on the paper towels so i took a closer look at his shed and noticed that there was some on there as well.....it wasnt alot but just some here and there...was wonderin if that was normal :confused:

    If its just a small amount then its normal after a shed cycle ;).

    The tissue right around the vent area is somewhat delicate. Sometimes a snake will pull its shed off too quickly and cause some bleeding around the vent. It's perfectly normal and harmless. :)

    my girl shed again a couple of days ago and the same thing happened. the vent looked a bit sore afterwards but the following day it was back to normal and opened up the waste gates! :pee:
    i measure her length after each shed and i couldnt believe she had grown 2.75" in 6 weeks!
