    Wolf's Rain?
I just finished watching the anime for the first time. I'm absolutely in love. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good fan sites, or had anything to say about it in general. ???

Those of you familiar with this anime....do you think it would be appropriate for a 14 year old girl? (A 14 year old girl with conservative and protective parents... :P )

I'm always on the lookout for something new for her to enjoy. She loves anime and beautiful artwork. But some anime is definitely only appropriate for more mature audiences. Where does Wolf's Rain fall, do you think?

I would think it's okay for a 14 year old. But, I dont know what it was rated or anything. It was on late at night, so it may be rated Pg-13, or for anime wise, 14+. Of course, I watched all kinds of anime, from hamtaro to .... just down right nasty. So, I may not be a good source to go off of.

Great anime! I think it would be fine for a 14 year old. there's some violence...I think that's it. it's been a while since I've seen it but I sure liked it!

There is a bit of violence... Judy, maybe it would help if you would tell us what she usually watches?

I agree, Wolf's Rain has some of THE most beautiful artwork ever. I'm a huge wolf fan and just couldn't get enough of this series!

Ahhh, good point, Lynn. Let me see if I can come up with some titles off the top of my head.

    Naruto
Fruits Basket (we enjoyed that one together)
    .Hack Roots
    Trigun
    Gundum Seed

Typical anime violence isn't too much of an issue. Mild sexual inuendos or romantic circumstances are fine....but the really sexy stuff I prefer to avoid. And we don't like things that are deeply occultic. Fantasy-type magic stuff is fine...but things that glorify occultic magic or make evil somehow heroic, we avoid.

Oh, I think you will be totally fine with Wolf's Rain. No problems... like I said previously, it has some mild violence, language, some sexual innuendos, and, of course, a touch of magic to it. But other than that, really good stuff!
