Albino (Amelanistic) ball pythons don't have any melanin, a dark pigment that exists in a particular layer of their skin.

Consequently, when they shed the out later of skin, there is no pigment to show up in the shed skin. Hypos (hypomelanistic) do the same thing as well. This results in a clear shed. Skin that is shed from normal ball pythons usually have some faint dark pigment that leaves a pattern in the shed.

    Its totally normal.

why are you so worried about your albino having some sort of disease?

the only reason i would be worried is if the seller gave me a reason to be worried...and when you're dropping that kind of money on a ball python, then you need to know that everything is better than great..

The shed will look like any other normal ball python's shed, except it won't have any color or pattern to it.

Its also easy to miss retained scales on albinos...you want to make sure your humidity is on par especially for these guys so they can have good sheds.
